NIH Big Data Grants

The NIH Big Data to Knowledge (BD2K) initiative has several grants available to support educational activities that complement and/or enhance the training of a workforce to meet the nation’s biomedical, behavioral and clinical research needs. A list of the funding opportunities can be found on the NLM BD2K Grants page. Here are examples of currently open grants:
- NIH Big Data to Knowledge (BD2K) Enhancing Diversity in Biomedical Data Science with a focus on research experiences (for faculty and undergrads) and curriculum or methods development for undergraduate courses.
- BD2K Research Education Curriculum Development: Data Science Overview for Biomedical Scientists for graduate students in biomedical sciences.
