Posted by on May 23rd, 2017 Posted in: Health Information Literacy, HIV/AIDS, National Library of Medicine News, Public Health, Public Library, Scholarships and Grants

The National Library of Medicine will offer awards up to $50,000 for organizations and libraries to design and conduct projects to improve HIV/AIDS information access for patients and the affected community as well as their caregivers and the public. The NLM is particularly interested in proposals with creative and different approaches to disseminate information to populations that have a disproportionate prevalence of HIV/AIDS infections in the United States. Emphasis is on increasing the awareness and utilization of NLM online health and medical resources in the HIV/AIDS Community using innovative and evidence-based projects. See the NLM SIS AIDS Community Information Outreach Projects Funding Opportunity for more information.
