The LGBT+ National Aging Research Center is dedicated to creating innovations to address the health, aging, and well-being of LGBTQ midlife and older adults and their families. This Center is built upon strong collaborations across the nation with LGBTQ older adults, their families and communities, and service providers as well as multidisciplinary experts from such diverse fields as Social Work, Medicine, Public Health, Sociology, Nursing, Psychology, Statistics, and Ethics.
The Center projects illuminate innovation in the use of science to promote best practices in research, training, and resource and program development to promote equity and reduce social, economic and health disparities now and for generations to come.
