Marijuana Talk Toolkit

More states are legalizing the use of marijuana but even in states that haven’t legalized its use doesn’t mean that the youth in this country aren’t partaking. Teens and young adults are especially susceptible to the negative effects of any drug use, including marijuana. Even the occasional use of marijuana can cause teens to engage in risky behavior, find themselves in vulnerable situations and make bad choices while under the influence.  Parents have the most influence and it is important that they are provided with the good information so they can support their kids. But how to start the conversation with your teen? Unsure of what to say and how to say it? Partnership for Drug-Free Kids has a Marijuana Talk Toolkit available to help in that conversation.
