National School Lunch After School Snack Program

Posted by on August 23rd, 2017 Posted in: Children and Teens, Scholarships and Grants

Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis for this federally assisted snack program operating in public and nonprofit private schools and residential child care institutions. School districts and independent schools that choose to take part in the snack program receive cash subsidies from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) for each snack they serve. In return, they must serve snacks that meet federal requirements, and they must offer free or reduced price snacks to eligible children. See more information and apply here.
