October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Posted by on September 28th, 2017 Posted in: General

Breast cancer, the second most common kind of cancer in women, affects about 1 in 8 women in the United States. The National Breast Cancer Foundation says, “Breast cancer can’t be prevented, but there are ways to protect your overall health and assess your personal breast cancer risk. Take action and get your free copy of the Healthy Living and Personal Risk Guide today.” For ideas on raising awareness and helping to spread the word about the importance of early detection, see Healthfinder.gov’s Breast Cancer Awareness page. Included is information for newsletters, suggested tweets, and a badge for your website.
