Walk This Way“, a September 19, 2017 blog post from Community Commons by Andrea Waner, emphasizes the importance of walking and physical activity and how the workplace can support an active lifestyle. The article uses data from County Health Rankings and resources from ChangeLab Solutions, such as:

  • Walk This Way guidebook
  • Workplace Wellness site – includes guidebook, poster, and comic
  • October 5, 2017 Webinar from American Walks that aims to
    • Identify potential state and local policies that can support physical activity and wellness in the workplace and beyond
    • Describe the relationship between workplace wellness and active transportation
    • Understand how to use Walk This Way to support wellness and physical activity.
