Online Resources to Support Evidence-Based Practice on Population Health

Join the National Network of Libraries of Medicine between December 11 and December 31 to learn to locate data related to population health and Healthy People 2020. Online Resources to Support Evidence-Based Practice on Population Health will discuss the use of MedlinePlus, PubMed and HSRProj for public health professionals and librarians. This course will be divided into the following five sections:

  • Population Health and Healthy People 2020
  • MedlinePlus: Supporting the Public With Easy-to-Read Consumer Health Information
  • An Introduction to PubMed: Finding Peer-Reviewed and Evidence-Based Public Health Articles
  • Looking for Trends and Partners for Health Services Research with HSRProj
  • Scenario Practices
