Posted by on January 17th, 2018 Posted in: Mental Health, Substance Addiction and Misuse

SAMHSA has released a new information kit for college and university prevention practitioners, health center staff and administrators. The Behavioral Health Among College Students Information & Resource Kit “supports substance misuse prevention and mental health promotion initiatives on college and university campuses.” It includes “fact sheets, extensive resources, PowerPoint slides, and more.” For a brief overview of college campus substance use, mental health, and the toolkit, visit the “Prevention Works on College Campuses” blog post by Frances M. Harding, Director, SAMHSA Center for Substance Abuse Prevention.

SAMHSA is the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration.
