On March 13 at 8am ET, the Roundtable on Health Literacy of the National Academies of Science, Engineering, and Math will meet to discuss health literacy needs of older adults. The workshop will focus on the changing needs of health literacy that arise from chronic disease and medication management, cognitive and functional declines, and other health communication challenges. The workshop will also highlight strategies to bridge health literacy gaps for older adults and their caregivers.
