Advancing Obesity Solutions Through Investments in the Built Environment: Proceedings of a Workshop

The National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine report titled, Advancing Obesity Solutions Through Investments in the Built Environment: Proceedings of a Workshop describes the proceedings of a workshop related to obesity and the built environment. This report explains that throughout the 20th and 21st centuries, weight gain has increased as access to healthy foods and places to be physically active have declined. The proceedings of this September 12, 2017 workshop focused on making the built environment health promoting.
