The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) is accepting applications for the High Obesity Program. Funding is available for land grant universities to implement evidence-based obesity prevention strategies in counties with an adult obesity rate over 40% by leveraging community extension services. Strategies include those that will increase access healthy foods and safe and accessible places for physical activity. The applications are due on July 9.
