Food Safety for Young Adults

Posted by on October 9th, 2018 Posted in: Websites

As our children grow up and leave for college or employment they are taking steps to becoming independent including how to grocery shop, eat healthy, and keep food safe.  The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) provides information specifically for young adults regarding food safety. Food safety tips sheets provide bite-sized information in both English and Spanish.  Young adults can quickly learn what it takes to keep food safe when shopping and cooking. In addition the FDA provides information about making safe food choices when dining out.
