The NNLM webinar series, PNR Rendezvous, has a free webinar focusing on vaccine information.

When: Wednesday, August 21 from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. PT (please adjust to your time zone)

Session Title: Libraries Connecting Communities to Vaccine Information & Resources

With vaccines being in the headlines recently, it is likely many of your library patrons are wondering if they, their children, or family members are up to date with immunizations. This webinar will provide practical information, resources, and tools for public library staff to help empower and inform their communities around vaccines. The presentation will also equip libraries to help their patrons speak with their pharmacist and other members of the care team about vaccines as well as additional health information needs.

Presenter: Rachel G. Firebaugh, Pharm.D., MPH, Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Washington School of Pharmacy

Registration and attending the live session is encouraged. However, registration is not required and information on how to attend is available the PNR Rendezvous web page. The session will be recorded and will also be posted on the PNR Rendezvous web page a few days later.
