How to Prevent High Blood Pressure

Posted by on January 27th, 2020 Posted in: General

Nearly one-third of American adults has hypertension (high blood pressure), but it often goes unnoticed. Hypertension often does not have any major symptoms, yet it can lead to conditions like heart attack or stroke. Normal blood pressure means that your systolic pressure is less than 120 and your diastolic pressure is less than 80. The best way to stay on top of preventing high blood pressure is by getting it regularly checked by a healthcare provider.  Learn more about preventing high blood pressure on MedlinePlus.
