Remember: When planning meals, include vegetables and aim for color and variety. Potatoes don’t count as vegetables because of their negative impact on blood sugar.

This tips is provided by the Healthy Eating Plate. The Healthy Eating Plate, created by the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health, is a guide for creating healthy, balanced meals. The guide includes of graphic of and tips for eating a healthy meal. The Healthy Eating Plate is available in 32 languages.
