Join us for next month’s NNLM Resource Picks to learn about PubMed Central. PubMed Central® (PMC) is a free full-text archive of biomedical and life sciences journal literature at the U.S. National Institutes of Health’s National Library of Medicine (NIH/NLM). In this one-hour webinar, Kathryn Funk, provide an overview of her work at PMC. Kathryn is the program manager for PubMed Central at the US National Library of Medicine. She is responsible for PMC policy as well as PMC’s role in supporting the public access policies of numerous funding agencies, including NIH. Prior to coming to NLM, Katie worked in academic publishing, most recently at the American Psychological Association. She received her master’s degree in library and information science from The Catholic University of America.
