Consumers need access to information and resources about genetic information in an understandable manner. Libraries have a role in providing reliable health information resources so patrons can be more knowledgeable about health conditions that may have a genetic factor as well as be better informed about the role of genetics in their health and its effect on society.
The class ABCs of DNA: Unraveling the Mystery of Genetics Information for Consumers provides an opportunity to become better equipped with the resources you need to address the genetic health information needs of your community.
This 8 hour, asynchronous course will be offered October 19- November 15, 2020. The deadline to register is Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Registration is free.
