Monday, December 1st, was World AIDS Day, an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness.
Providing accurate health information is essential to HIV prevention and management. The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) provides many HIV resources through the HIV Resource Library. The recently updated Pocket Guides are downloadable, concise, and easy-to-read guides on the basics of HIV testing, pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP), post-exposure prophylaxis (PEP), the benefits of HIV treatment, and how to properly clean syringes.
