The U.S. Census Bureau created My Tribal Area, a tool that gives quick access to tribal area statistics from the American Community Survey (ACS). The broad categories include People, Jobs, Housing, Economy, and Education. More detailed views display income, health insurance coverage, occupations, and many more stats collected by the ACS.
The Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago Community Development and Policy Studies division developed the Peer City Identification Tool to compare and visualize trends or challenges among a city’s peers, which can give needed context to “policymakers and practitioners.” The tool draws from city-level indicators from the American Community Survey and historical Decennial Census records.
