Are You Prepared for Hurricane Hermine?

Posted by on September 2nd, 2016 Posted in: Disaster / Emergency Preparedness, In the Region

Weather reports are calling for Hurricane Hermine to possibly cause flooding and damage in the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast over the course of the Labor Day weekend, and possibly into next week. In response to the recent severe flooding in Louisiana, the National Library of Medicine Disaster Information Management Resource Center (DIMRC) has updated the pertinent resource guides on hurricanes and floods. Here you will find information from all major government organizations on safety and health issues related to preparing for, and coping with, these natural disasters.

In addition, you can embed the content from these pages on your own website by accessing the Health and Human Services (HHS) Content Syndication Storefront. This will ensure that any updates made to DIMRC pages will carry through to your website as well.
