Data Internship

Our interns from summer 2022 have built and shared some fantastic resources.

Also, we recently announced our new group of interns for 2023, and we're excited to work with them and our partner sites this summer!

Curriculum Planning

  • We recently taught a new class, The Research Data Services Landscape, and will periodically offer this again in the future. It's designed to introduce newcomers to research data services and show how to get started in this area.
  • The Fundamentals of Health Data Science will guide newcomers through a data science project in Python. This 8-week course is scheduled to launch in September, with applications for learners and mentors to open in late summer. Stay tuned for more info!
  • We are also developing and collaborating on classes for data analysis, data visualization, and a general introductory class on working with data.
  • NNLM Region 1 is developing a Carpentries "Community of Practice" pilot project that will aim to help people who have taken Carpentries to apply what they've learned to their work. We are assisting where we can and will consider collaborating on this kind of program in the future.
