These events will address the challenges libraries may face helping to support researchers prepare for these updates.<\/p>\n<p>During the first half of 2022 we held a series of informational webinars on the NIH updates, with <a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/introduction-nih-data-management-and-sharing-plan-session-1\">an overview<\/a>, presentations about <a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/nih-data-management-and-sharing-session-2-practitioner-perspectives-internal\">internal outreach and policy<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/nih-data-management-and-sharing-session-3-practitioner-perspectives-education\">education<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/nih-data-management-and-sharing-session-4-practitioner-perspectives-infrastructure\">infrastructure<\/a>, and <a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/nih-data-management-and-sharing-session-5-policy-recap-and-qa\">a question and answer session<\/a> with representatives from NIH. Anyone can still review those recordings for information on the NIH policy. Now we are encouraging information professionals from across the country to join us in discussing particular issues we will face as we prepare our communities for the new policy.<\/p>\n<p>The first community discussion will be held on <strong>Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at 1 PM Eastern Time, <\/strong>with others to follow:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/community-discussion-addressing-nih-data-management-and-sharing-policy\">https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/training\/class\/community-discussion-addressing-nih-data-management-and-sharing-policy<\/a><\/p>\n<p>During this meeting we will present questions that information professionals submitted and ask audience members to share their thoughts on issues that many will face in light of the new NIH policy.
