Create Effective Data Visualizations<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

Data visualization is a key part of communicating information. Learn about common types of visualizations and how to use them to meet the information needs of your audience. This class will give examples of different chart types and will discuss common pitfalls when creating visualizations. Lastly, instructors will use example datasets to demonstrate creating visualizations in Tableau Public.<\/p>\n

Hosting a Hackathon<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

In this virtual discussion, panelists will share their experience hosting hackathons\/codeathons in library spaces \u2014 both virtual and in-person. We’ll discuss the challenges of organizing virtual and in-person hackathons, lessons learned and how librarians can get involved with hosting fun and successful hackathons.<\/p>\n

Creating Data Management Plans with DMPTool<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

The DMPTool is a free tool that walks users through creating comprehensive data management plans. This webinar will guide attendees through data management plan basics, creating a DMPTool profile, and exploring available templates and planning resources.<\/p>\n

The All of Us Researcher Workbench<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n

This presentation will provide a look at the NNLM All of Us Research Program’s Researcher Workbench, which is a cloud-based platform where registered researchers can access Registered and Controlled Tier data. Its powerful tools support data analysis and collaboration.<\/p>\n

NIH Data Management and Sharing Policy Immersion Workshop<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n
