Teaching Secondary Data Use in Libraries<\/strong><\/a> is a four-part short course hosted by the NNLM National Center of Data Services and designed to share ideas around training students and researchers on finding and using existing datasets. Starting with a session on resources and tools available to find secondary data, this series will progress through teaching secondary data use, a discussion of data standards and interoperability, and a case study featuring work on the All of Us Research Program dataset.<\/span><\/p>\n

Thursday, Oct. 22 at 2pm Eastern<\/span>: Teaching Secondary Data Use with Fred LaPolla (NYU Health Sciences Library)<\/p>\n

Friday, Oct. 30 at 1pm Eastern<\/span>: OMOP, Data Standards, and Interoperability with Dr. Adam Bouras (Purdue University)<\/p>\n

Thursday, Nov. 5 at 2pm Eastern<\/span>: Secondary Data Use Case Study with Yuqi He, Nick Szydlowski, and Dawn Hackman (San Jose State University Library)<\/p>\n
