We\u2019ll be doing this through three projects to begin with, with the potential for more collaborative and inclusive outreach in the future:<\/div>\n<ul>\n<li>Evaluation capacity survey: Learning and incorporating the principles of evaluation into our daily work can be an uphill climb for anyone who has not closely studied the subject. Yet, evaluation is key to understanding our programs\u2019 and trainings\u2019 impact, and for creating more informed reports for our stakeholders. Through the evaluation capacity survey we intend to learn about the knowledge, interest, and experience in evaluation among the NNLM network members.<\/li>\n<li>Member study: The NEC staff has been listening to community feedback about improvements that could be made to the member database. Beginning in Year 1, it is our goal to assess the amount and type of member data collected. We aim to support the work of the Membership Working Group with our data-focused approach for a streamlined and maximized membership list and experience.<\/li>\n<li>Key informant interviews: A central part of network and capacity building, key informant interviews will be conducted by defining community and networks within the NNLM, then recruiting key informants from each network and community to interview about their experiences and expectations for a productive NNLM community. From these interviews, the ideal attributes of a successful network will be identified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>We look forward to sharing our progress on these initiatives through the EWG, our newsletter, and other venues \u2013 stay tuned!
