The system will also deliver <a href=\"https:\/\/news.nnlm.gov\/nphco\/know-your-journals-2017-18-journal-collection\/\">more information about the journals<\/a> and book titles.<\/p>\n<p>This technology was developed by your IT colleagues in West Virginia.<\/p>\n<p>To start with a new file structure, get the zip file here:\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/nphco\/phdl\/Phdlfiles091818.zip\">https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/nphco\/phdl\/Phdlfiles091818.zip<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Two guides are available to help set up this version of the PHDL:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/nphco\/phdl\/PHDL-Turnkey-Guide.pdf\">PHDL Turnkey Guide<\/a> to do an easy install of the page and its accompanying files and folders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none\">\n<ul>\n<li>A more extensive <a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/sites\/default\/files\/nphco\/phdl\/phdlintegratorsguide.docx\">Digital Library Integrator&#8217;s Guide\u00a0<\/a>will help you with making customizations to the resources display as well as the interface of your PHDL.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The structure and back end of the page allows for maintaining a local data file separate from the html page. If you are maintaining a static html page for the digital library, the resource list is available as an excel file . Please send us an <a href=\"mailto:phdl@umassmed.edu\"> email<\/a> if you need these formats.<\/p>\n<p>Really, you\u2019ll want to work towards adapting the remote data set-up: our new PHDs have found installing the digital library pages to be straightforward. Please let us know about your department&#8217;s move to this resource delivery system for the PHDL. \u00a0The time to install and set up this structure is minimal compared to the time it will take to update your resources on a static PHDL page.<\/p>\n<p>Note that your PHDL page has a\u00a0<strong>PubMed link set to identify content:\u00a0<\/strong>\u00a0for departments who have been with the program for several years, you\u00a0may have a department-specific link. Your department should change this link so that it points to the PHDL content with the a generic PHDL icon. \u00a0That URL is<strong>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/?holding=phdlnphco\">https:\/\/www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov\/pubmed\/?holding=phdlnphco<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0are phasing out department-specific links in PubMed and these will not be current. <strong>Please move to using the PHDL-specific icon and the new URL<\/strong>\u00a0to identify your PHDL articles!<\/p>\n<p>Please let us know if you have any questions.
