Protein sequences are the fundamental determinants of biological structure and function. This webinar will show you how to use the Protein and Structure databases from NCBI to find information about the biological structure and function of proteins and other biopolymers. You will learn how to use these resources to answer the following questions:

• How do I find a protein sequence or structure for a specific gene from a specific organism?
• For a particular protein, how can I find the corresponding transcript and genomic sequence?
• How do I retrieve and view a 3D structure for a particular protein from an organism of interest?
• How can I find and view 3D structures that include a specific chemical such as aspirin?
• How can I retrieve and view a 3D structure for a specific type of molecule (protein, RNA, or DNA)?
