Join your colleagues on Friday, November 18th from 11am-12:30pm (Pacific time) for the Medical Library Association (MLA) webcast Connecting E-science and Team Science: The Changing Nature of Research.  The topics that will be covered include an introduction and review of eScience, understanding research and researchers, collaborative science (or ‘the science of team science’), and concluding with librarian involvement as connectors and facilitators.

The Pacific Northwest Region (PNR) will host the webcast at the University of Washington Health Sciences Library, Lab C.  If you will join us here in Seattle for the webcast at UW please register at http://tinyurl.com/PNRWebcastReg.

PNR is also pleased to announce funding for 3 other locations to host the webcast in the Pacific Northwest Region.

In Alaska, the webcast will be presented and hosted by the University of Alaska Anchorage Consortium Library, Room 309. Please contact coordinator Kathy Murray afktm@uaa.alaska.edu for details.

In Spokane, WA the webcast will be presented at the WSU Riverpoint Campus in Spokane Academic Center Room 311 and hosted by the Inland NorthWest Health Sciences Libraries group (INWHSL). Please contact coordinator Bob Pringle rpringle@wsu.edu for details.

In Oregon, the webcast will be presented at Kaiser Permanente Center for Health Research in Portland and hosted by the Oregon Health Sciences Libraries Association (OHSLA). Additionally, lunch will be available at no charge to OHSLA members, or for $10 for non-OHSLA members. (See registration for menu choices.)
