New Look for NNLM & RML Websites!

Posted by on June 12th, 2006 Posted in: News From NNLM PNR

Announcing a redesign and upgrade for webpages of the National Network of Libraries of Medicine .

Why the changes? Recently, a national usability and evaluation review was conducted on the NN/LM and RML websites. Results supported the need for a more uniform navigation scheme in the family of NN/LM webpages and more focus on the needs of our Network Members.

How will this impact you? As of Monday, June 12, if you are a long-time user of the PNR website or other NN/LM sites, some of the services you rely on may have moved to new addresses.

Also, the PNR site will now link to the *national* Network Member Directory (http://nnlm.gov/members/adv.html). You can search for specific Network member names or organizations in any RML region. Or, you can quickly limit your search by region, state, county, city, or zip code.

This roll-out is the first stage of a broad effort to improve our Website to meet network member needs. We know we aren’t done, and we plan to continue refining our webpages over time. Meanwhile, we do appreciate your comments!

If you run into any problems, please use the Feedback link at the top of any page to let us know what you are trying to find. Or, feel free to call us (800-338-7657) and we will do our best to help you right away.
