Posted by on December 21st, 2015 Posted in: News from NLM, Training & Education

A new tutorial is available from NLM: PubMed for Nurses. It covers using PICO, formulating a search, applying filters to narrow search results, using Clinical Queries, and saving search strategies and citations. It’s available from the PubMed homepage under PubMed Tutorials.

This tutorial was created specifically to help nurses efficiently find literature using PubMed. Its concise, targeted content consists of five videos with exercises to test knowledge. The tutorial was designed to be completed in less than 30 minutes. https://www.nlm.nih.gov/bsd/disted/nurses/cover.html
