Dragonfly Gets Blogged

Posted by on April 11th, 2005 Posted in: News From NNLM PNR

As of March 31, 2005 Dragonfly, the newsletter of the NN/LM PNR, has a new look and feel. It is no longer a quarterly publication. Articles and anouncements are still published as soon as they are written but they are now compiled monthly. Another feature of the new design is that readers can make comments about the items that are posted. In order to prevent spam and untoward remarks from appearing in Dragonfly readers will be asked to register the first time they want to comment. Instructions for registering are in the link, About Dragonfly. Announcements and new articles will still be posted on PNRNews and HLIB-NW lists to alert you when new information is available on the blog.

The new design was crafted by Michael Boer, Information Technology Coordinator at the NN/LM Pacific Northwest Region and is based on one created by Michael Miller, Technology Coordinator, NN/LM Pacific Southwest Region. The new Dragonfly is produced using a content management system software called Word Press. Maryanne Blake will continue as Editor of Dragonfly and Michael Boer as Publication Manager.
