Posted by on November 7th, 2011 Posted in: Training & Education

Samaritan Health Services, an NN/LM PNR Network Member, has won the Rethinking Resource Sharing (RRS) 2011 Innovation Award for their project Access for All: Gateway to Information about Health Research Funding and Resources.  Access for All consists of two web-based services, ScanGrants.com and ResearchRaven.com, and is available to 5,000 employees, medical residents and students affiliated with the community health system in the Willamette Valley. It is also free of charge to those engaged in research and other activities aimed at improving individual and community health.

Hope Leman, MLIS, research information technologist with the Center, accepted the award and a $1,000 check in Chicago at the Interlending and Document Supply (ILDS) Conference, “Resource Sharing in the Digital Age.”

The award monies will be used to advance scholarly research by Samaritan employees. Congratulations to librarian Hope Leman and the rest of the team!
