Acting Health and Human Services Director Eric D. Hargan has declared a public health emergency in California due to wildfires. NLM’s Disaster Information Management Research Center (DIMRC) has compiled many resources to assist with response and recovery from the wildfires, including information guides with curated, reliable information from vetted federal, state, and local governments and organizations.
Esther Sternberg, MD, professor of medicine at the Arizona College of Medicine, joined the NLM Board of Regents in 2014 and became chair in August, 2017.
As part of an ongoing effort to enhance the functionality of NLM’s ClinicalTrials.gov resource, NLM released the next phase of updates on September 25, 2017.
