The National Network of Libraries of Medicine is continuing its efforts to improve consumer health information on Wikipedia with its third Edit-a-Thon event on May 6, 2019, focusing on the topic of health equity. An in-person editing session will be held at the MLA Annual Meeting in Chicago.
The National Library of Medicine has announced that LinkOut for Libraries programs, formerly consisting of three services allowing PubMed users to access full text journal content through their institutional subscriptions, will be consolidated into a single service; Library LinkOut (via Outside Tool) at the end of 2019.
