Jennifer Gallagher, Adult Services Supervisor at the Maricopa County Library District Southeast Regional Library in Gilbert, AZ, provides highlights of the hosting experience for the NLM traveling exhibition, “The Politics of Yellow Fever in Alexander Hamilton’s America.” The library is also active in supporting citizen science activities to further engage their community.

NNLM PSR Exhibit Presence at the University of Arizona Annual Connect2STEM Event in Phoenix Makes an Impact!

NNLM PSR librarians Nora Franco and Kelli Ham attended and exhibited at the annual University of Arizona College of Medicine Connect2STEM event, reaching over 250 visitors at the largest STEM-related event held in downtown Phoenix. They focused on providing outreach for consumer health information, citizen science, and the All of Us Research Program.

NLM Request for Information Solicits Feedback on the Future of ClinicalTrials.gov

In light of NLM’s ClinicalTrials.gov 20th anniversary and upcoming modernization effort, a Request for Information (RFI) has been issued to solicit comments on the following topics: website functionality, information submission processes, and use of data standards. Report on the Association of Vision Sciences Librarians Turning 50!

With the support of professional development award funding from the NNLM PSR, Debbie Jan, Optometry and Health Sciences Librarian at UC Berkeley’s Fong Optometry and Health Sciences Library, attended the 50th anniversary of the Association of Vision Sciences Librarians (AVSL) Annual Meeting to learn about recent federal vision funding activities, new eye and vision-related MeSH terms, and much more.
