The NIH has issued a Request for Information to solicit “use cases” or input on health problems or research questions of interest that the All of Us Research Program could potentially help address. Responses must be submitted by February 23 using the program’s IdeaScale website.

California Governor Jerry Brown has declared a state of emergency related to fires in Ventura County, San Diego County, and Los Angeles County. NLM’s Disaster Information Management Research Center (DIMRC) has compiled many resources to assist with response and recovery from the wildfires, including information guides with curated, reliable information from vetted federal, state, and local governments and organizations.
The NIH All of Us Research Program and the National Library of Medicine (NLM) have joined forces to raise awareness about the program, a landmark effort to advance precision medicine. Through this collaboration, the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM) has received a $4.5 million award for a three-year pilot program to support community engagement efforts by public libraries across the United States and to improve participant access. As a result of this development, Kelli Ham has transitioned to the new role of NNLM PSR Community Engagement Librarian.
