Samantha Lopez, Program Officer at the Public Library Association (PLA), describes a funding collaboration and partnership between NNLM and PLA to expand the scope of PLA’s Project Outcome, a performance measurement toolkit, including the addition of standardized health surveys, to better measure and demonstrate the impact of public libraries’ health programming and services on their communities and beyond.

To celebrate Citizen Science Day 2019 on April 13, the Stall Catchers Megathon, a worldwide event, provided the opportunity for any member of the general public to engage in real science by joining a game format to analyze actual research data related to Alzheimer’s disease.
