Hannah Schilperoort, Nursing Liaison Librarian at the USC Norris Medical Library in Los Angeles, writes about her experience participating in an online training module offered by the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI), the first in a four-part series for the JBI Comprehensive Systematic Review Program. She received NNLM PSR Professional Development funding to complete the course.

The NNLM “All of Us” National Program officially launches on Sunday, May 6. In addition, an informational webinar on involvement opportunities for NNLM members will be held on April 30 at 11:00am PDT.

Eric Dishman, director of the All of Us Research Program at NIH, will deliver the 2018 Joseph Leiter National Library of Medicine/Medical Library Association Lecture live broadcast on Wednesday, May 9, at 10:30 AM PDT. The lecture is open to the public. The featured presentation will be “Precision Communications for Precision Health: Challenges and Strategies for Reaching All of Us.”

Jill Barr-Walker, Clinical Librarian based at the University of California, San Francisco, Zuckerberg San Francisco General (ZSFG) Hospital Library, highlights the experience of participating in two health fair events in the summer and fall of 2017 to promote awareness of the resources and services provided by ZSFG Library to staff, patients, and the local community. She received funding support through the NNLM PSR outreach Mini-Award program.
