Several new features have been added to the “new” PubMed, including an updated homepage, an online user guide, the CSV file format, My NCBI Filters, My Bibliography and Collections, and search integration with the MeSH and NLM Catalog databases.

At the NLM Update held during the 2019 Medical Library Association Annual Meeting, speakers Janice Kelley, Jerry Sheehan, Joyce Backus, and Amanda Wilson highlighted coming changes for NLM resources and services.
June Kim, librarian at the American University of Health Sciences in Signal Hill, CA, describes highlights of a project supported by NNLM PSR Mini-Award funding to host a two-day health-related “mini academy” for underrepresented youth in the community. Activities included demonstrations of first aid procedures, vital sign and body measurements, and research activities with NLM’s MedlinePlus resource.
