Meet us at the Oasis!

Posted by on June 30th, 2009 Posted in: General

On July 15, NN/LM PSR staff will host the first of its monthly web conferences, “Midday at the Oasis.” These conferences will be held from 1-2 pm Pacific Time on the third Wednesday of each month. As the name implies, we are hoping that you will take a break in your day to quench your thirst for news about what’s happening in the region, and for knowledge about new NLM and NN/LM resources, programs, and services. We look forward to sharing what we know and to your sharing with us what you need and find helpful in your work.

Our initial conference will focus on what’s ahead for our regional program in the coming year, and on tips that will develop your skills as a MedlinePlus “super searcher.”

Specific details on how to join the web conference will be posted to PSR-News about a week before the meeting.

So if it sometimes feels like a “desert” out there as you make your way in the world of health information, take this opportunity to join your colleagues for refreshment (and fun too!) at the Oasis!
