A Call for Applications (CFA) has been issued for two new NN/LM PSR funding opportunities; Professional Development Awards and Outreach Mini-Awards. All Network members are eligible to apply. The maximum award amount for both programs is $2,000 and all project activities must be completed by April 30, 2017. The RML expects to fund up to ten Professional Development Awards and six Mini-Awards. For both awards, applications will be accepted on an ongoing basis. Proposals will be reviewed on a first-come, first-serve basis, and awards will be made until funds are expended.
Professional Development Awards are designed to support individuals wishing to attend professional conferences, workshops, and other educational opportunities in areas of health sciences librarianship or related disciplines. Outreach Mini-Awards are designed to support short-term projects, such as NLM traveling exhibition programming, one-time technology improvement (equipment) purchases, or one-day events such as health fairs, with an ultimate goal to promote knowledge of and access to National Library of Medicine resources for health care providers and consumers.
For additional information, such as proposal evaluation criteria, awardee reporting requirements, allowable expenses, and links to application forms, visit the award web sites on the NN/LM PSR Funding webpage. Don’t delay; we look forward to seeing your proposals!
