DOCLINE Reaches Milestone of 40 Million Requests!

On May 2, 2017, at 1:16 pm Eastern Time, the Community Health Network in Indianapolis, IN, entered DOCLINE request number 4,000,0000. This request was filled by the Health Sciences library at Franciscan Health Indianapolis, at 9:33 am Eastern Time, on May 3, 2017.

DOCLINE, the National Library of Medicine’s automated interlibrary loan (ILL) request routing and referral system, provides efficient document delivery service among over 2,100 libraries in the National Network of Libraries of Medicine. The current fill rate is 93.3% and the average time for lenders to fill a normal DOCLINE request is typically less than a single day.
