NIH MedlinePlus the Magazine Summer 2017 Issue Available Online!

The Summer 2017 issue of NIH MedlinePlus the Magazine is now available! Featured in the issue is Liz Hernandez, journalist and host of the TV show Access Hollywood. Hernandez is a leading advocate for those living with Alzheimer’s disease and shares her family’s experience with NIH MedlinePlus Magazine. In addition, the issue features articles on genetic testing, surgery of the future, understanding food allergy, and the progress against the Zika virus.

NIH MedlinePlus the Magazine is the free, trusted consumer guide to the vast array of authoritative online health and medical information in MedlinePlus. Published four times a year, the magazine showcases the National Institutes of Health’s (NIH) latest medical research and healthcare information. NIH MedlinePlus the Magazine is available online in both HTML and PDF format. You can also receive a print subscription or e-mail alerts.
