A message from NLM…
This message is a reminder from the National Library of Medicine (NLM). As previously announced, catalog records for print monographs that are part of NLM’s general collection will not be assigned cutter numbers beginning on June 21, 2010. Books that are in the NLM Reference collection or the History of Medicine collection will continue to be fully shelflisted, along with print serials All material cataloged by NLM will continue to have an NLM Classification number assigned.
