Under a cooperative agreement with the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20210507002212\/https:\/www.nlm.nih.gov\/\">National Library of Medicine (NLM)<\/a>, the University of Maryland, Baltimore (UMB) Health Sciences and Human Services Library (HSHSL) serves as the Regional Medical Library for Region 1.<\/p>\n<p>Visit <a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/funding\/rfa\">NNLM Funding Opportunities<\/a> for details on available project awards.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Period of Performance: May 1, 2022 \u2013 April 30, 2023<\/li>\n<li>Application Due Date:\u00a0<strong>March 28, 2022 4:00 PM ET<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>Refer to the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/guides\/nnlm-proposal-writing-toolkit\">NNLM Proposal Writing Toolkit<\/a>\u00a0to help you develop your proposal.<\/li>\n<li>Please allow extra time to familiarize yourself with the NNLM Online Application System and system requirements before submitting an application.<\/li>\n<li>Your NNLM Account\u00a0<strong>MUST<\/strong>\u00a0be tied to the correct Institutional Organization in order to apply for a project award.<\/li>\n<li><strong><em>Academic Institutions<\/em><\/strong>: Applicants must consult with your Sponsored Programs Office prior to applying for any project award. If your Sponsored Programs Office insists on submitting an application, they must create an NNLM Account prior to the submission deadline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Please read the description\/requirements of the award and the evaluation criteria. Some awards are eligible for Indirect Costs (IDC) or Facilities and Administration (F&amp;A), and all funds must be spent by April 30, 2023.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/funding\/rfa\/health-information-outreach-award\">Health Information Outreach Award<\/a>: ($20,000\/award). Enable organizations to provide support for projects that improve health information literacy and increase the ability of patients, family members, students, and members of the public to find and use health information; or improve health professionals\u2019 access to, awareness of, and skills for locating high-quality biomedical and health information<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/funding\/rfa\/techquity-project-award\">TechQuity Project Award<\/a>: ($25,000\/award). Enable organizations to deliver technology improvement and health and digital equity to underserved communities impacted by the digital divide via technology funding and online resource training.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/funding\/rfa\/data-science-and-services-project-award\">Data Science and Services Project Award<\/a>: ($25,000\/award). Enable organizations to stimulate innovations in biomedical knowledge or data science, information, or research services<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/nnlm.gov\/funding\/rfa\/professional-development-award-0\">Professional Development Award<\/a>: ($2,000\/award). Strengthen the professional knowledge and experience of individual network members in data science or health information access, and build professional capacity in support of the goals of the NNLM.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><u>Have Questions?
