In observance of National Preparedness Month each September, NNLM and its partners are hosting the 2024 Virtual Disaster Preparedness Forum. This year, we are featuring guests from the HHS Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health and the National Rural Health Association.

• Wednesday, September 18 at noon MT: Cybersecurity for Rural Hospitals From the National Rural Health Association – Learn about the current state of rural health in America, with a focus on cybersecurity from guest speaker Chief Executive Officer for the National Rural Health Association, Alan Morgan, MPA.
• Wednesday, September 25 at noon MT: Climate Resilience Resources from the Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health, United States Department of Health and Human Services – Learn about federal resources available to assist communities in planning for and responding to extreme heat events from Office of the Assistant Secretary for Health (OASH), U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. For a librarian audience.
