If you provide information support for researchers, be aware that NIH has announced its new Policy Supporting the Next Generation Researchers Initiative. NIH is prioritizing applications from principle investigators who are Early Stage Investigators or Early Established Investigators. This policy is meant to encourage more applications from less experienced researchers. An overview of the policy is available on Open Mike, NIH’s blog on funding issues.
