Webinar: Building Resilient Communities Online and In-Person

Posted by on April 22nd, 2020 Posted in: #CC/Academic List, #Health Interest List, #Health Sciences List, #Public/K-12 List, All Members

From childhood trauma to dementia, and from social-emotional challenges to mental wellness knowledge, libraries and their partners can train staff and community to build resiliency. The invisible bonds that bind our communities together are more evident than ever. In this time of crisis, take an hour to pause, breathe, listen, participate and reflect along with the staff at the Gail Borden Public Library District in Elgin, Illinois, an IMLS National Medal recipient. Examine your library partnerships and community assets and learn how to empower your staff, your patrons and your community, online and in-person, with tried and true tools that you can use to build a more resilient community.
