Happy National Donor Day! NNLM Region 4 would like to thank those who have given a gift of life through organ, eye, and tissue transplant and recognize those who have received a donation, are currently waiting for a lifesaving transplant, and those who died waiting for an organ was not donated in time.
Today is a time to bring awareness to the different types of donations, such as organ, eye, tissue, blood, platelets, and marrow, that can give someone a second chance at life.
